New Project Coordinator vacancy

We have seen a rise in new enquiries over the past few months which is very exciting! We count ourselves lucky that we managed to stay open during the pandemic and carried on operations as normal, with a few Health & Safety measures added to the equation. It is great to see the variety of projects coming our way, from new technology development to reshoring opportunities, as well as new devices ready to hit the market!

We are now looking for a Project Coordinator to come and join the team to ensure efficient and on time completion of projects.
The successful candidate will need previous experience working within the manufacturing industry so they understand each stage of the process.
They will have previous experience of successful project coordination and have excellent organisation and time management skills.
Strong verbal & written communication skills are a must with the ability to adapt their personal approach to enable constructive and positive resolutions.
The ability to inspire in group and one-to-one situations is essential showing strong negotiating, influencing and persuasion skills.
Strong IT skills including Sage 200 / CRM and Microsoft packages are highly desirable.

Here's a brief Job Description:
  • Develop a project plan detailing clear objectives, timelines and budget
  • Act as point of contact and regularly communicate project status to all participants
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation e.g. plans & reports
  • Liaise with relevant Managers / staff providing clear objectives on the assistance required from them / their departments ensuring the project is run efficiently
  • Organising and minuting any project team meetings required
  • Progress chasing on any incomplete tasks
  • Providing weekly updates to Senior Management on project progress
  • Conduct and provide post-project analysis highlighting success & failures to support with continuous improvement
  • Coordinate new leads including quotes, BOM, procurement and production planning.

Meet Kayleigh Williams, Inspector and IPC Trainer here at Philtronics. Kayleigh has been an important asset to Philtronics during her time here. Tell us about your role at Philtronics. A. My role involves training not only new starters but also training experienced Philtronics employees. I recently passed my IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Trainer exam, so I can provide training on ensuring and certifying the quality and reliability of box build assemblies.
